DESCRIPTION:Standard trim lungs have lobes attached. The trachea is trimmed to a length of five inches. The length of the trachea is determined from the point where it splits into the bronchial tubes. The yield is 5.0 pounds per 1000 pounds of live weight.
PACKAGING: Standard trim lungs should be packed in a box specifically designed for lung production. The box measures 23-1/4" x 18-3/8' x 6-15/16" and holds 50 pounds of product. The box side is stenciled "Beef Lungs - Not Intended For Human Food". The carton top must be securely strapped in place.
